Deb Foster’s *Glimpse of Heaven* on Saturday, February 5th.
Former San Diegan Deb Foster returns to our group as a speaker on Saturday, February 5th, from 1:30 to 4:00 pm at our usual location, the Harbor Room of the San Diego County Health Services Center. Deb had a fascinating NDE that occurred on December 11, 2002 when she gave birth to her daughter and
suffered an amniotic fluid embolus. She was clinically dead for over four minutes while the hospital team tried to revive her.
Deb’s story is quite profound. She will relay her experience on the staircase in what she describes as a “glimpse of heaven” and include “the Light of God” and animals that she met on the staircase. Deb will also relay how she came to understand the experience was a true miracle after the message she received in I.C.U. Deb’s story has been featured on two San Diego news stations and the May 2005 issue of the San Diego Union Tribune article with Beverly Brodsky and the late Claire Schlessinger. She was also one of the people interviewed in the Near-Death segment on ABC’s December 2006 and 2007′s Barbara Walters special entitled: Heaven, Where is It? How Do We Get There? Deb was also interviewed in the December 2005 issue of Guideposts about her NDE. She was also featured in the film: Reflections: Beyond and Back in 2008. Deb’s wonderful story, which still brings tears to my eyes, was shown on the pilot series for I Survived: Beyond and Back, now a six-episode series on the Biography channel, along with our former guest Michaela Roesner, describing her veridical experience, and Steve Damroth‘s fraternal murder. The Biography channel received such good feedback on the pilot that they continued the show, so many others can tell their important and valuable stories to the public.
