The message is clear..all the way to the solution… There are so many ways to make a difference and we can release ourselves from bondage and fear!

A Child’s Vision of Eternity, 1:30 pm to 3: 30 pm

Raymond is an NDEr with an artist’s (visual and sound) unique perspective.  He died at age 10 as a result of a schoolyard martial arts accident.  He took a hard blow to the head resulting in a concussion and my body fell into seizures which caused his tongue to buckle back, suffocating him.  Paramedics were called and were on the scene within two minutes.  When they arrived there was no perceptible heartbeat or breathing.  CPR was administered and twelve minutes into the event he was revived.  Hospitalized at Kaiser Permanente/Harbor City, California for one night and sent home at his request the next day with no permanent brain damage.

While to those watching the scene unfold it appeared that he had lost consciousness, he experienced no break in awareness whatsoever.  One second he was here (in supreme pain!), the next he floated in a sea of nothingness.

Raymond experienced many, but not all, of the classic NDE benchmarks:  for example…the tunnel, the white light, meeting loved ones, and more.  However, he did not float above my body and look down upon it.  It was as if entire creation opened up, shimmered and shined for a period, magnificent spiritually significant knowledge was imparted, then he was sent back, very much against his will.

Although he really cannot call that place a “place” as we think of it.  When we leave space time, there is really no such thing as a “place”.  But since we are limited to words to describe things, he really has no alternative to using the word.  After all, you can’t eat the word “sandwich”!

From the depths of the foggy mist, his dog appeared – “Skippy” – who had died two years prior.  We were in bliss to see one another again!  Raymond had no idea where he was nor how he got there, nor what Skippy was doing there!  We were reunited and rolling in each others’ arms, when I was greeting by a being of pure light, and taken on a “tour” of creation.  I was shown many things… far too much to include in a short letter like this, but needless to say it was a bit much for a ten year old to process.

He found his purpose and saw God face to face… no, not the dude with the white beard in case you were wondering.  After he died, he told his parents about what happened.  Being raised a strict Catholic, they arranged a meeting with our parish priest, who calmly explained that Raymond had been deceived.  According to him, it was actually the devil – who was so utterly powerful – that he could actually appear as if he were God.

Raymond was plunged into guilt; if Satan were able to present himself so perfectly then he had no chance to discern the truth.  He “packed away” his NDE and was unable to process it, until many years later.

Such an experience does not necessarily make life any easier.  In fact, in many respects in becomes harder!  After all, having an NDE and attaining spiritual enlightenment does not make paying the past due electric bill any easier.

” I’d like to share a few of my life stories that led up to an amazing, life changing 3-hour experience where I was taken from my body by an wonderful spiritual being, assisted for hours through the long tunnel which acted as a type of force-field-highway for Souls to travel between planes, through many heavens, far past the mind, into rarified Soul regions to a point where I was assisted in dropping my Soul Body (the individual viewpoint created by God that allows us to believe that we are separate from God) and then experience God as SELF. Mike Kramer has worked as a Graphic Designer and artist most of his working life, in the Navy for 4 years, 5 years of college, then 30 years in the fitness industry handling international advertising campaigns in 4 languages. Mike has been a long time searcher for God who started meditating at the age of 12 and has many spiritual experiences and personal stories to share. He’s given hundreds of lectures on spiritual subjects for 43 years. He is sixty years old now, married for 23 years with 2 grown sons and a 1 grandchild. He’s simi-retired, supporting his wife in her career as a  chiropractor, bicycling and writing.

Yolaine will briefly discuss the challenges of STErs, which includes, but is not exclusively NDErs.  She is the founding director of ACISTE (the American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences) and a former President of IANDS. ACISTE’s program to support STErs, latest results of survey about integration and support systems, plans for a conference in 2012 to educate mental health professionals, pastoral counselors and spiritual directors about these issues.  There are also plans for training and enhanced support for STErs.

Yolaine Stout, founding director of ACISTE, has served as President and Executive Director on four non-profit boards since 1990, including the International Association for Near-Death Studies or IANDS.  In that capacity, she saw the tremendous need for a greater understanding of the integration process and support system for experiencers.  She is author of “Six Major Challenges Faced by Near-Death Experiencers” published in the Journal of Near-Death Studies, co-facilitated the first IANDS retreat for near-death experiencers.

Mrs. Stout has given numerous presentations and radio interviews related to near-death experiences and her own NDE, the result of a suicide attempt in 1982.  Mrs. Stout has also produced an upcoming documentary called “Back to Life: Six Challenges Faced by Near-Death Experiencers.”   She is an Honors graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her teaching credential.  After retiring from a 25 year teaching career, she received her Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
